Vaivén is coproduced by Mercat de les Flors (Barcelona), Les Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg and the friendly support of Festival de Otoño de Madrid, Sasha Waltz & Guests and L’animal a l’esquena. Synopsis Vaivén: a dytique in which each solo feeds from the other. A first solo, performed by Juan Kruz, in which he abandons his body to exhaustion, on a quest for the deepest emotion from which to transport that body to a physical state of exaltation and intoxication, of surrender in order to excess as the body’s ecstatic overdose, an addictive and addicted body, as matter, as source of energy and, above all, as an emotional catalyser. The solo performed by Antonio has the voice as its central point, from a body that holds to its integrity as an expressive and narrative tool. Through a repertory of songs from totally eclectic and heterogeneous periods and styles, sung live, the themes of uprooting, of exile, of farewells, of longing, are addressed through a character that appears nomad and homeless, in its literal sense, as much as in a metaphoric  and metaphysic  one.
