Spanish Federation of Dance Companies Network

Manuel Segovia’s version, inspired by the iconic Beaumarchais trilogy with a markedly eclectic character, which uses both the Commedia del Arte and the Spanish Dance as a whole. Music by Boccherini, Mozart, Rossini, Santiago de Murcia and popular songs, with arrangements by Ibérica Ensamble, generate a rich and powerful score used as a sound landscape, where choreographically different situations and moods of the work are described.

The scenography flees from the figurative and realistic and takes us to a dreamlike and imaginary world that transports the viewer to a world of intense colors, always cheerful and fun.

The wardrobe supports and qualifies these spaces enhancing colors and movement, bringing originality, elegance, versatility and freshness.

The uniqueness of this pioneering work as a whole, attends to different eras and diversity of styles in an original and unique version.
