Spanish Federation of Dance Companies Network

We have chosen Aleluya erótica (subtitled of The Love of Don Perlimplin & the Prodigious Cobblers Wife) by Lorca because the musical component in all the play’s development is essential, becoming a key reference in its structure. This allows the sensual game of the protagonist dancer and at the same time makes the antagonist character, played by a singer, a great dramatic force. The work has a strong dreamlike content, allowing the dance and music to be developed in order to take on all the weight of the work.
